Provenance: former Dyrham Park shelfmark (double-lined capitals rather than solid capitals) in black ink on front pastedown: 'D no-1'. Binding: eighteenth-century sprinkled brown calf over boards; sewn on four raised bands; blind tooled double fillet border to upper and lower covers, with additional blind tooling by spine; blind tooled board edges; gold tooling to spine; red leather spine label with 'Oevres ducheu temple' lettered in gold; red sprinkled edges.
