(Not in Franks) [i.e. Wilmot Vaughn (1730-1800), 4th Viscount Lisburne from 1766 to 1776, when he was created 1st Earl]. Bequeathed to the National Trust by Norman Norris (1917-1991). Loosely inserted: Norris's manuscript notes on verso of bookplate of E.C. Stanley Norris (his father). Binding: Eighteenth-century (?) full vellum over boards; brown leather spine label with title 'Rettor di Arist.'; sewn on three raised bands.
