Provenance: manuscript former shelfmarks, both eighteenth-century, on front pastedown: "Z.18" and "25 F 27". Binding: eighteenth-century full sprinkled sheepskin; sewn on five raised bands; single gilt fillet border with small thistle corrnerpiece stamps; blind dotted roll pattern along board edges; gold-tooled spine; gilt title on brown goatskin label on spine. Red sprinkled textblock edges.
