Binding: eighteenth-century gold-tooled red morocco; sewn on five raised bands; gilt floral roll pattern border and double gilt fillet and roll pattern panel, the panel with gilt cornerpiece stamps and centrepiece stamp; gilt floral roll pattern along board edges; gold-tooled spine with fleur-del-lys stamps; gilt title lettered directly on spine. Gilt textblock edges. Comb and swirl marbled endpapers.
