Summary
One of two walnut-grained turned hall-stands on tripods. Turned stem with baluster section above the tripod, ebonised rings below and above. Circular umbrella/stick holder is above, pierced with four holes. Four turned pegs extend from top. Turned finial has two rounded knops and an egg and cup finial. Tripod is shaped with roundels applied to an upper projection. Feet are short turned uprights.
Provenance
Transferred to the National Trust by the Treasury in lieu of CTT in 1985 with an endowment provided by the NHMF.
