Summary
A large oak case containing a collection of stuffed birds, all mounted. The case has glass panels side and front and a moulded cornice. The back inside is lined with cream paper. the base of the case is full of many different types of bird including grouse, ducks, pheasants, a kestrel and also a bat and rabbit. This case with unfinished specimens illustrates the working process of a taxidermist.
