Summary
Four panels of plaster relief of male heads of Roman philosophers and orators in elaborate cartouche in centre of panel. 1 head inscribed Cicero. Designed by Gibbs and probably executed by Bagutti.
Provenance
Part of the Bambridge Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 1976 by Mrs Elsie Bambridge (1896-1976)
