Summary
Drawer second row left, from a walnut and iron vargueño, (NT20203.1), Spain, probably Salamanca, circa 1650. Inlaid details in ivory and mother-of-pearl on the front and small, single drop handle. Drawer base cracked. Loose paper label inside drawer with inscription.

Marks and inscriptions
ANTIQUE SPANISH VARGUENO / CABINET on magnificently carved / original stand, fall front, mounted / with finely pierced gilt iron fittings / enclosing many drawers and cup- / boards gilt and inlaid. Measures 3ft. 6in. wide, 18in. deep, and 4ft, 10in. high.
