Summary

Bedside table, oak, two tiers, Edward Barnsley (1900-87), c.1930. It was commissioned by Basil (1887-1953) and Alice Muriel Gimson (1889-1970) from Barnsley for £7 6d for Five Oaks, Hampshire and later furnished Stoneywell, Leicestershire.

Beside table commissioned by Basil (1887-1953) and Alice Muriel Gimson (1889-1970) from Edward Barnsley (1900-87), c. 1930, £7 6d for Five Oaks, Hampshire. Later furnished Stoneywell, Leicestershire. Thence by descent and on loan to the National Trust since 2012.
