Summary

A woman's belt made from black cotton and metal threadwork. The black ground is extensively decorated with gold and silver metal thread in a diamond pattern. The belt has been removed historically from its original garment, as evidenced by several loose threads along the hemlines.

Object included in general transfer of low value objects on the settlement of the estate of Lady Mairi Bury, 2012
