Summary
G45 Gun Camera by Williamson Mfg Co Ltd. The body is green metal with a power connector at the rear. These cameras were used extensively throughout WWII. The side has an embossed panel reading 'Camera Type G45 B MKS 24 volts Ref.no.49501 AM (with crown logo) Serial No 40109 M Williamson Mfg Co London & Reading.'.G45 Ref No 14**** AM Serial No M14085' A side door and top panel both give access to the magazine chamber. The inside of the side panel has Ref No 14A/1441. Also painted on is 'RL.101.6.57'.The film magazine has 'Magazine Type G45 Ref no 14A/1395' followed by air ministry and Williamson labels.

Part of the Fenton Collection. A gift from British Film Institute in 2017. From 1986-1999, part of BFI collection for the Museum of the Moving Image. BFI purchased collection in 1986 from James Fenton's Museum of Photography, Port Erin, Isle of Man 1976-1986.
