Fox Talbot Museum, Wiltshire
An Albumen print depicting a view of coastal cliffs, there is a pencil inscription which may describe where the scene is but it is illegible. The V&A Frith collection identifies this view as being the Carn Keys from the Cheese Rocks. The print is surrounded by a grey border that is printed onto the card mount, which is subject to considerable foxing. Handwritten in pencil, recto bottom left is the illegible description. A printed paper label is attached to the verso bottom right, "Frith's Photo-Pictures the Universal Series".
