Summary
Miniature rectangular table with stained mahogany top decorated with gold foliage in a Victorian or Edwardian style. It has four match legs stuck to the top with cottonwool and glue, two are broken. It is part of the dolls' house furniture.
Full description
This style of dollhouse furniture whose decoration was made using transfers like this and printed paper to imitate the Boulle style was made by the Schneegas company, manufacturer of dollhouse furniture from the 1840s to early 20th c in Waltershausen, Germany.

Purchased with the family collection of Abbey contents in situ from Mrs Petronella Burnett-Brown December 2009.
