Summary
An aluminium can of wood polish, by Briwax. Of cylindrical form with a protruding rim around the top and bottom of the can and with a circular aluminium lid with a channel around the rim fitted into the top of the can. Printed to the outside with green and orange script on an white background.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Khadambi Asalache upon his death in 2006; acquired fully in November 2010.
Marks and inscriptions
To the outside of the tin.: “- the natural wax / CLEANS • STAINS • POLISHES”. With further script to the top and side of the tin. On yellow adhesive paper label.: “£6-60”.
