Summary
One of a pair of wellington boots - Made from black leather with a brown leather sole. They are lined with tan leather all the way down the back and 77mm down the front with two short pieces of red leather at the side seams. There are green/buff silk ribbon boot pulls. They are a turnshoe construction. They are decorated with brown leather binding around the top. Thereis wheeling on the soles and on the top of the heel. On both boots handwritten 'J Heenan Esq., 18 Mars 1840' '6615 Gradelle, Boot and Shoe Maker, 55 Grande Rue, Boulogne.' (male)
