Summary
Jacket - Silk damasked and brocaded with isolated flower motifs. Multi-coloured silks point rentree on ivory ground. Possibly Spitalfields silk. End of sleeves faced with fine pink silk, otherwise unlined. Almost hip-length, falling straight from the shoulder. Front edge to edge opening. Back cut diangonally at sides to give flare. Sleeves long, loose and flared. Front edge trimmed with cream and pink silk ribbon. Five round decorated metal buttons on each sleeve. (female)
