Summary
Drum, Indian-, (Tabla). The larger of two Indian tablas, hand drums painted in coloured bands of yellow, black, orange and blue with leather thongs holding painted wooden spool tensioners. In notebook no.4, page 67 (1340945.4) Charles Wade refers to: 'Seraphim 365. Two Indian Drums. Lacquered. bands of Red, Blue, Yellow, Black. Tightened with Reels and leather thongs.'. Includes sketch with dimensions.
