A mahogany occasional chair, one of a set of three, British, late 19th century, the cameo-form back with moulded rim and carved crest of flowers and leaves, joined to the seat with foliate carved supports, with serpentine-fronted seat on cabriole front legs, carved with scrolls at the top and terminating in whorl feet, with plain section slightly splayed legs to the rear, the overstuffed sprung seat upholstered in beige, gold and blue woven cotton with beige cord and trim, the cameo-seat back upholstered with beige, gold and blue fabric, buttoned to the front, with beige trim. The upholstery is in very poor condition with many rips and tears, most of the beige trim has disintegrated.
