An oak dining chair, one of a set of twelve, English, second half 19th century, the open back with curved top rail and lower back rail united by a shaped vertical splat, all incised with lines and floral motifs, the overstuffed seat upholstered in brown velvet with trim, the turned and tapering from legs terminating in brass caps and brown ceramic castors, the top of the front legs incised with floral motif, with rear square-section splayed legs.
