Summary
A satinwood curricle chair, circa 1812, made by Gillows of Lancaster. With ebony inlaid decoration, cane seat and back, bone balls to the ends of the arms.
Provenance
Egerton collection devised to the National Trust in 1960 by Maurice, 4th Baron Egerton of Tatton (1874-1958).
