Pair of jars, each with cover, earthenware with tin-glaze (Delft), of fluted ovoid form, octagonal section, painted in cobalt blue with formal overlapping panels of flowers, marked W/p, Delft, the Netherlands, c. 1695-1715.
Provenance
The 1909 Heirlooms at Tatton inventory records ‘15 Blue and White Delft Vases over bookcases in the library’ and acquired by Earl Egerton.
