Summary
One of a pair of rosa Baveno granite and white marble console tables, probably after a design by Salesilo Angelo Pegrassi (Verona 1812 – Verona 1879) mid - late 19th century.Each with a rectangular granite top above S scroll carved solid end supports. These tables, or stands, are in a similar style to the tables upon which they are attached See: NT1257589. They appear to have been made at a later date but in the same style and using the same materials.
Provenance
Bequest of the estates of Corfe Castle and Kingston Lacy made to the National Trust by Henry John Ralph Bankes (1902-1981). NT ownership commenced from 19th August 1982.
