Summary
A walnut side table or radiator cover, British or Irish, first half 20th century, the narrow rectangular table top with moulded rim, the frieze divided by band of moulding, with shaped apron to the front and plain to the sides, a curtain rail affixed to the inside of the frieze, on four turned baluster and block-section legs terminating in shaped feet, the legs joined by plain stretchers to the front and sides.
Provenance
On loan to the National Trust from Lady Mairi Bury (1921-2009) 1976, then accepted by HM Government in lieu of Inheritance Tax and allocated to the National Trust, 2013.
