Summary
One of a set of seven lined wool tapestry curtains, each of a single width of handwoven tapestry of the 'Peacock and Dragon' pattern in greens and pinks, designed by William Morris in 1878. They were ordered for Standen in 1897, and are the original curtains for this room. Each curtain has a gold, orange and cream woollen rope tie.
