Summary
A mahogany stool, English, 19th century, in the early 18th century style, covered with a petit point needlework top showing floral and foliate motifs on an olive green ground with brown trim, above a shaped rail, on cabriole legs with carved detail to the knees and ears, terminating in pad feet.
Provenance
Date of acquisition by the National Trust unknown. Formerly at Harewoods and transferred to Hatchlands Park. First recorded at Hatchlands Park in the 1976 inventory.
