Cotton fragment. The red cotton fabric is unbalanced plain weave, ridge. It has machine and hand sewn hems, and also unpicked hems. The fabric is cut on five sides.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
