Summary
Baby's bonnet. An Irish embroidered baby's bonnet dated 1850 (circa). Fabric of undyed cotton machine net. Embroidery of applied muslin with whipped edges, needlerun diapered grounds and needlelace fillings, 'Carrickmacross Lace'. Design of flower trails and sprays.

Given by Phillip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
