Summary
Cup. A two-handled vase-shaped cup with partly-fluted body engraved with a coat-of-arms on a mantle, with long, reeded handles chased with foliage at the ends and a fluted foot and stem. Daniel Smith and Robert Sharp, 1787. Motto with arms 'Nil Desperandum'.
Provenance
Given by Phillip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
