Engraving. A print engraving of Peter the wild youth (after William Kent) by John Simon (Normandy c. 1675 – London 1754). Inscribed: 'Found in the woods of Hamelin in Germany about Christmas 1725. Supposed to be about 13 years of age, presented to His Majesty by whose order he was brought over to England. Done from ye original painting at Kingsinton by Mr Wm. Kent' .
