Summary
An oak window or hall seat, English, mid- to late 20th century, in George III style. With drop-in brocade-covered seat pad. And on six legs, all square-section, embellished with stop-mouldings and headed by spandrels.

Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
