Summary
A crossbanded oak press cupboard, probably Welsh, circa 1760. Adapted, and used at Erddig as a proving cupboard. Lacking cornice, and above two doors, each with a large and a small fielded panel. The interior fitted with four later shelves. The base of six short drawers with brass handles, moulded edges and thread escutcheons. Lacking bracket feet.

Given by Phillip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
