Summary
Lower valance. Proper left lower valance consisting of four joined panels of silk embroidered with floral motifs, birds, insects and a monkey. The valance is backed with a 20th century textile, with a 60mm band of 20th century silk running along the bottom and is tacked and stuck onto a wooden baton which has two mounting hooks.

Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
