Design of the West end of the Music Room. With detailed drawing of the organ. One painting identified with measurements. Dimensions of the door are also given. Scale in feet. In ink: "West End of the Musick Room". In pencil: "Organ not executed". Numbered "4". Signed and dated: "Robt Adam Architect 1760" [but perhaps more accurately dated 1765. See also CMS inv. nos. 109429, 109430, 109431, and 109461]. Watermark: Strasbourg lily, initials LVG. Formerly in "Sections of Rooms at Kedleston" [CMS inv. no. 109428], p. [7].

Created by Robert Adam for Nathaniel Curzon, 1st Baron Scarsdale. By descent to Francis Curzon, 3rd Viscount Scarsdale. Acquired by gift as part of the transfer of Kedleston Hall to the National Trust in 1987.
