Summary

Shutter furniture for the shutter over the door from the Marble Hall to the North Front. When the shutters are closed, there is a metal bar, attached at one end to the right-hand shutter, that slots into a catch on the left-hand shutter to fasten them closed. This bar is released by pressing a catch below the loose end of the bar.
