Summary
Door shutter for the door from the Marble Hall to the North Front. The wooden shutters cover the glazed area of the door and are split in two, with a bi-fold shutter on each side. When opened, the shutters clip back into the wall on either side of the door surround. Each section of shutter has four panels on both sides. These panels are bordered with decorative beading on the sides which are exposed to the Marble Hall when the shutters are closed, while the other panels are delineated by grooves in the wood. The shutters are painted white.
