Embroidered cloth. Fabric, a. black wool twill weave, b. red wool twill weave, c. blue wool twill weave; lining, a. and b. undyed cotton (?) fine and heavier counts plain weave (tabby); embroidery, wool dyed blue, green, orange, red, pink and white in chain stitch worked with an 'ari'; design, black border on four sides of stylised scrolled stem with flowers and leaves, main ground divided into diamonds with two borders either end; seven diamonds with same stylised flower and stem motif, remainder pieced together of various stylised plant forms; structure, cut on four sides, embroidery through wool and lining. Note written in ink 'Red, Blue, Green Tablecloth from Weybridge.
