A view of a street set with flagstones, a row of cottages and a tavern on the right with mountains rising in the distance. Other buildings are visible amongst trees on the left. Two female figures in black and white walk down the street on the right and a figure with a horse can be seen further down the street on the left. A tall tree in full leaf rises up behind the cottages at the far right. The sky above the mountain peaks is pale blue with several luminous white clouds.
Given by Alexander Campbell Blair (1862 – 1936) with the house to the National Trust in 1934
