Summary description

Oil painting on canvas, Mary Peek, Mrs George Smith Drew (1821-1896), English School, circa 1850 - 1860. She wears a long crimson decollete dress with a lace bertha and carries a white shawl and gloves. A small full-length portrait of Mr Julius Drewe's mother standing on outside steps, turned right facing with her left hand on a balustrade on the right.


This item forms part of the original Drewe family collection at Castle Drogo. It was transferred to the National Trust in 2008.
