Pewter plate, ornamented with design of a medieval man's head. Marks, crown over rose.
The style of the pewter plate suggests that it dates from between 1760-1790. On the back of the plate are two marks, the first is a winged angel with a sword and shield flanked by the letters 'A I C' which is a Flemish touch mark. The second mark is a crown over a rose, which is a quality mark indicating that it is made of high quality pewter.
