Chest. An oak ark or chest (possibly a meal ark). The three front panels carved with a diamond pattern, with frieze above and below, carved with continuous cusp decoration. With and iron key plate and clasp (not original). With moulded lid. On four fee. Mid-17th century.
Part of the Sneyers Bequest given to the National Trust in 1988.
