Pearlware jug (possibly Wedgewood) decorated in blue and gold leaf by John Lockwood Kipling; pear shaped body painted with two portraits of Bacchus and male accompanist, in horseshoe frame. The simple handle flanked by a pair of cherubs holding a vine, the opposite side decorated with cartouche inscribed "TO FWM from JLK" and supported by two cherubs, the shoulders painted with five lines of verse, the collar painted with nine masks.
