A plastic costume doll dressed as a Swiss Guard from Rome in a cylindrical plastic box. He has painted and moulded facial features with opening blue eyes. He wears a red long sleeved felt tunic with a white ruffle at the neck and two yellow ribbon stripes the back and front with a blue ribbon stripe down the centre front. Around this is a black leather belt with a silver buckle. His knee breeches are also in red felt with a blue ribbon stripe on the outside and a yellow ribbon stripe centrally down the back and front. A wooden halberd with a silver blade is fastened to his right wrist with a rubber band. He has yellow and black painted boots and is fastened on to a circular wooden black painted red on the top and gold on the circumference with 'Roma' in black. A circular label is stuck to the packaging has '7' on it in ink. A label on the object reads 'Swiss Guard from Rome, 14.7.1970'. Total number of items is 2.
