A 19th century (probably) Gothic style wooden dining chair with a padded fabric seat and back. It has turned wooden legs and a seat which is cream in colour and made from a coarsely woven fabric. The front of the fabric is very worn and the weave has broken revealing white wadding and straw beneath. The seat is also sprung with metal springs, which are showing beneath where the fabric covering is hanging down. The back of the chair has decorative posts and a carved decorative pediment. The centre of the back is padded with the same fabric as the seat.
