A child's 1920s white muslin dress. The bodice has a round neck with broderie anglaise and floral embroidery at the front. There are vertical narrow bands of inset broderie anglaise on either side of the bodice front and back. The back would have closed with buttons but they are missing. The set-in straight sleeves have a narrow lace trim at the wrist. The skirt is in three tiers of frills of muslin mounted on a muslin foundation. These former frills have broderie anglaise trimming at their free edge. This garment has been mended rather crudely.
