A fabric clown doll made from circles of multicoloured fabric which are threaded on elastic (1950/60s). The clown has a stuffed fabric head. His face is made from a white manmade fabric with embroidered eyes, felt nose and mouth. His hair is short and is made from brown wool. He has a yellow wool loop sewn to the top of his head. His body, arms and legs are made from circles of manmade fabric, ranging from plain yellow and red to a multicoloured selection of floral prints and abstract shapes. His hands are made from pink stuffed felt and his feet are made from light brown stuffed felt.
