A collection of cards given away with chewing gum, depicting colour and black and white photographs of the 1960s pop group the Beatles on one side. There are parts of three different sets in total; the first set has five out of a forty card set. All these photographs are in colour. The second set has seven out of the second series of forty-five photos. These photographs are black and white with facsimile autographs of Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr on some of them. The third set has thirty-five out of a sixty card set. These photographs are black and white and again have facsimile autographs of all of the Beatles, including John Lennon. All of the card photographs are mainly publicity stills including images from 'A Hard Days Night' and 'Help!'. The number of the card and manufacturing details are stamped in blue on the reverse. Total number of items is 47.
Donated to the Museum of Childhood by Mrs M. Cooling in September 1984.
