A small child's hat in pink brocade with two broad lappets in black brocade attached. The circular crown has a central floral motif in a darker pink. This has a white cotton stiffening inside it with the material crudely stitched to this. The brim is of the same material, ruched, with the black lappet material showing beneath the brim at the front of the hat. The black brocade lappets are long and shaped into a curve on either side. A narrow rounded white elastic is fastened across the inside of the hat with another long piece of rounded elastic attached to the inside of the crown and hanging loose. There are six small black cotton loops stitched on the inside of the hat. This hat could have been used for drama or dressing up play.
