A plastic costume doll dressed as a New Zealand Maori girl (possibly 1950s or 1960s). She has a brown plastic head with moulded and painted facial features and dark blue open and shut eyes. She has black artificial hair over which she wears a black, red and white headband. She has a brown plastic body, arms and legs and her arms are jointed at the shoulders. She wears a dress which has a grass skirt. The top of the dress has a man-made fabric bodice in black, red and white and a skirt made from yellow grass. She wears a cape made from a coarsly woven fabric which has a white over-cape, also made from a coarsly woven fabric, which imitates fur. She wears red man-made fabric knickers.
