An untinted bisque shoulder-head doll, The head is bisque with inset blue glass eyes and yellow painted hair in a wavy style. The shoulders have holes for sewing but have been glued to the stuffed cloth body. The upper arms and upper legs are also stuffed cloth. The lower arms are untinted bisque and the lower legs are untinted bisque with glazed white lower sections which have painted pink garter ribbons and purple- coloured copper lustre finished ankle boots. The right foot has broken off and is missing. She is wearing a dark red cotton/wool dress with puffed sleeves which has narrow black velvet ribbon at the neck edge, lower edge and on the sleeves, which also have narrow red braid. She is also wearing a fine white cotton waist petticoat with pintucks at the hem and fine white cotton drawers with pintucks at the hem and narrow lace edging. Ontop she has a very fine white fabric apron edged and tied with narrow blue ribbon, which has two ribbon edged pockets, and a straw hat edged with white satin ribbon decorated with blue ribbon rosettes and tied under the chin with narrow white ribbon.
