A baby's white cotton robe fastened at the back with drawstring tapes at neck and waist. It has lace and broderie anglaise trim at the front of the neck, and lace cuffs to the sleeves. At the bottom of the skirt are three rows of five pintucks with bands of lace between them and a deeper band of lace with a scalloped edge round the hem.
Donated to the Museum of Childhood by Mrs C. Fawcett in July 1975.
